The Accokeek Foundation at Piscataway Park, which includes the National Colonial Farm and the Ecosystem Farm, is located at 3400 Bryan Point Road in Accokeek, Maryland.
Piscataway Park is open from dawn to dusk daily, year round.
National Colonial Farm and the Visitor Center

The Visitor Center and National Colonial Farm site are closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Washington’s Birthday, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
The Ecosystem Farm is open to the public for tours and an On-Farm Market, between March and November, Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Special group tours are available upon request.

Directions from the D.C. area
Take the Capital Beltway (I-495/95 S) or I-295 going south. From I-295 take exit 1A onto I-95 N/I-495 N/MD-210 toward Baltimore, follow signs for MD-210 S/Indian Head Hwy. From the Beltway, take exit 3 onto MD-210 S/Indian Head Hwy. Go approximately 9.2 miles. After you pass Farmington Road, you will take a right at the next stop light onto Livingston Road, by B&J Carryout. (Please note that there are a few Livingston Roads, and you should turn only after passing Farmington Road). Drive one block and turn right on Biddle Road. At the stop sign, turn left on Bryan Point Road and follow 3.5 miles, keep right to stay on Bryan Point Road and into the park entrance.
Directions from Route 301, Crain Highway
From Waldorf, turn onto Route 228 and follow seven miles to the end. Turn right (north) onto Indian Head Highway and move into the far left lane. Take the next left turn onto Livingston Road (look for B&J Carryout). Drive one block and turn right on Biddle Road. At the stop sign, turn left on Bryan Point Road and follow 3.5 miles, keep right to stay on Bryan Point Road and into the park entrance.
Parking and Accessibility Information
All visitors, including school buses, should follow the signs for visitor parking located near the Education Center. Parking spaces designed to accommodate visitors with accessible needs are available. The distance from the parking lot to the Visitor Center is less than 300 feet, and the distance to the fishing pier is less than 500 feet. The distance from the parking lot to the boat dock is 1363 feet. The boat dock is not universally accessible. The grades are gradual, and the gravel pathways are relatively well packed.
Wheelchairs are available at the Visitor Center for temporary use by visitors with the park. Loans are first come, first served. A driver’s license or state ID is required.
Accessible restrooms are available at the Visitor Center, and are open daily from dawn to dusk. Additional restrooms are available at the Education Center during special events and activities only.
General admission is free for Piscataway Park, the National Colonial Farm, and the Ecosystem Farm.
