Ever wonder what it would be like to be able to shrink yourself to the size of a mole and travel beneath the soil to explore a magical world beneath your feet? Enter “Underspace! The Science of Soil,” for an immersive, glow-in-the dark exploration of the intricate web of life that resides in beneath your feet.
Then travel back in time to take a look at the daily life of a tobacco farmer, and how Earth’s most precious natural resources were used. The residents of the National Colonial Farm will engage you in a friendly discussion about their habits and enlist you to help with farm chores.

Green History connects a contemporary sustainability issue to its colonial equivalent. This innovative approach to interpreting history uses exhibits and visitor experiences that transform visitors into informed decision makers related to today’s environmental issues.
