Herding cows in a golf cart while wearing a dress after a fancy fundraising dinner because I accidentally let Bully Bull and Peace escape the pasture.
The animals–both domestic and wild.
I think I would be a hog. They’re curious and diligent, but they also know how to kick back and enjoy a good wallow.
A native of Annapolis, Casey joined the Accokeek Foundation in 2012 through a partnership with AmeriCorps and Volunteer Maryland. When her service year was up, she couldn’t bear to part with Accokeek, so she joined the team full-time in August 2013. She now works with the communications and development teams, and helps manage the Foundation’s volunteer programs. She particularly loves working with the Stitch ‘n Time club and spinning wool from the Foundation’s flock of Hog Island Sheep. She also enjoys birding, nature photography, and any time she gets to spend with the animals.
