My second day on the job. Taking in the fresh air and being surrounded by nature and so much history.
There is no stone or patch of dirt that I do not favor over any other; it is all my favorite.
I would be a herding dog.
Where to begin. Hello, I love history! I love nature! I love getting my hands dirty! I grew up in Southern Pennsylvania in Lancaster County PA. Growing up I split my summers in Sicily on my families small citrus farm and then back in the US surrounded by farms in southern Pennsylvania. I hold an undergraduate degree in Anthropology/History. I hold a graduate degree in Library Science. I have experience working and volunteering at various historical sites in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. I am Senior Librarian in a public library system when I am not working here at The Foundation. When I am here, I am a Museum Interpreter, but I also help out with the stewardship of the lands, as well helping to organize and establish the library. I am always searching and willing to learn something new. “There is only one way to learn. It’s through action. Everything you need to know you have learned through your journey.” ― Paulo Coelho,
