Visitors can obtain information about visiting the park, borrow a birding kit, rent a wagon for toting the kids, or a kayak cart to help haul your kayak to the launch. Also, be sure to stop in and meet the Accokeek Foundation’s “unofficial mascot,” a rescued box turtle named Edgar.
