Lisa has been president of the Accokeek Foundation since October 1, 2011. She brings more than 20 years experience in arts administration, educational theater, oral history and museums to her work at the Foundation. In addition to overseeing content and delivery of events, special programs, and school tours, Lisa co-directs the Museum Theater program. She has served as the Vice Chair of the Prince George’s History Consortium and is active in the International Museum Theatre Alliance and its Capital Region affiliate. She received her doctorate in American Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has performed her oral history-based play “Nurse!” off-Broadway and at several international conferences.
