Anjela joined the Marketing and Development team in 2009. As Communications Manager, Anjela works to spread the story of the Accokeek Foundation’s work and successes to our members, corporate supporters and others through publications and the annual report, as well as manages our website and social media outreach. She also is the volunteer coordinator, working to connect new volunteers interested in supporting the Foundation’s work with programs. Anjela has a Bachelor of Science in marketing from the University of Maryland, University College, and her prior work experience includes graphic design, marketing, and corporate recruiting. You may encounter Anjela some weekends, enjoying the beautiful natural landscape of Piscataway Park with her two children.
